SA Cafe

Dieing for a coffee after my gym outing I decided to check out the SA Cafe situated in Ormiston.

I was greeted warmly by the owner Rhett Ericsen-Miller who when I asked if I could order some food kindly told me that the kitchen closed thirty minutes ago, but he would be more then happy to make me something. But in the end I decided on just a coffee and I sat down in the glorious afternoon sun.

Rhett brought out my coffee with a cute Rosetta on top. The coffee was lovely, a little hot but it was smooth, full of flavour and made using South African coffee Reunion Island Coffee.

The shop sells homemade cakes and slices, South African inspired meals and also stocks South African meats, condiments and sweets.

Pelican's Nautical Treasures

The shop is located down by the charming Redland docks, over looking the spectacular views that the bay has to offer. The store was once a boat shed but has been transformed into a picturesque cafe that sells top notch coffee, a variety of sweet snacks and light meals.

Sushi Point Victoria Point

Sushi Point at Victoria Point is situated in the Lakeside Shopping Center. I have been here a couple of times and decided to go there last night.

Review

I was really disappointed with Sushi Point last night. I last ate here six months ago and noticed a definient drop in value, food standards and service. I am a big fan of all sushi but was dissatisfied at the tiny pieces of sushi in front of me for a whopping $5! Not only was the sushi scarce on ingredients but the variety was null.

Would not recommend it at all.

I also looked at other food review sites and found the same disappointed comments.

'The sushi is reasonably good. Very expensive. Clean and hygienic kitchen and eating area.
Only problem is the young staff that seat you, forget you. Trying to get their attention for orders, drinks and ginger is very very difficult.' By Heidi, 26/08/2010.

The Wishing Well Cafe

Oh the Wishing Well Cafe is the cutest cafe in all of Redlands!
I love going down to this funky cafe where you can nibble on home made scones and sip tea out of bone china. I feel like such a lady!

I held a hens high tea here a couple of months ago and the girls at the cafe were great. We had loads of food and drinks for a really reasonable price. I have no negative feed back, loved it, loved it, loved it!

Rafferty's Cafe, Cleveland

Rafferty's Cafe

The cafe is situated on the corner of Queens and Bloomfield Street in Cleveland. The Rafferty cafe is a family owned and operated business serving all day breakfast, lunches, home made cakes and delicious Vittoria coffee.
I have been down to the cafe several times and enjoyed the food and coffee. The only negative is sometimes the serve can be a little slow but it is worth the wait.

Coffee Secret, Cleveland

Coffee Secret is situated in Cleveland overlooking the beautiful Marina. The cafe offers light meals, mains and hand made cakes to die for! The store roasts their coffee beans on site, so you know that what you are drinking has been given that extra TLC.
The serve is friendly and the coffee came out super quick. I had coffee here a couple of days ago and the only negative feedback I have is the inability to choice a single origin coffee. So I would highly recommended Coffee Secret to locals and tourists.
